Economics2The Economics Tripos at Cambridge is one of the more challenging and broad courses offered by the university. The course develops your analytical and quantitative skills through the Microeconomics, Macroeconomics and Quantitative Methods papers in Part I. However, the course is unique in that there are compulsory Politics and Economic History modules for First Years meaning that essay writing skills are also developed.

This broad exposure in first year allows students to find out where their strengths lie and then specialise in Part IIA and IIB by choosing modules ranging from Labour Economics to Banking and Finance.
